Welcome to this website dedicated to the practice of occupational therapy in the emergency department, developed with the support of a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) grant as part of a knowledge transfer project *.

The goal is to facilitate access to research results and knowledge regarding the practice of occupational therapy in emergency departments. The site has been designed for use by occupational therapists interested in this professional practice, as well as other parties in the Health and Social Services Network who are involved along the senior care continuum. The site features various resources for anyone wishing to promote the occupational therapist’s role in the emergency department.
